    Leaks... and more leaks

A top TVNZ boss has scolded staff - after an email from the state broadcaster's chief executive was obtained by the Herald.

Story production and operations general manager Andrew Fernie told employees he's embarrassed and disgusted.

In that email, also leaked to our newsroom, Fernie says TVNZ's reputation is being wilfully destroyed.

Earlier yesterday, CEO Simon Power alerted staff that an external inquiry was being launched into their recruitment process.

It follows the abrupt resignation of Breakfast host Kamahl Santamaria.
