An independent review has found the buck stops with NZQA, for the problems with multiple digital exams

An independent review has found the buck stops with NZQA, for the problems with multiple digital exams

The report says last year's issues -- which included trouble saving exam work, and lagging -- was down to a number of safeguards failing.

NZQA's apologised, accepted the findings -- and developed an action plan to address the four areas identified as needing work.

Avonside Girls' High School Principal, Catherine Law says they're hopeful positive progress will be made ahead of this year's exams.

She says changes need to be made, and they're watching.
