A Wellington family's been revealed as the winners of a massive 30-million-dollar Lotto jackpot over the weekend

A Wellington family's been revealed as the winners of a massive 30-million-dollar Lotto jackpot over the weekend

The family syndicate had seen on the news the prize had been won in the Wairarapa town of Carterton, so didn't initially check their online ticket.

An email later came through from MyLotto customer support, suggesting they check the numbers.

They did so together, celebrating the biggest Lotto win since August last year.

The dad's believed to have accidentally entered Carterton as his place of residence when setting up their online account.

They're now weighing up a holiday, renovating the house, and donating some of the winnings to charity - as well as buying a new king-size bed.
