Buller Health has alternate care plans in place, due to reduced staffing

Buller Health has alternate care plans in place, due to reduced staffing

The Acute Stabilisation Unit will be closed until 8.30 on Monday, and there will be no urgent weekend clinics at Buller Medical Centre.

Anyone needing emergency or urgent help is urged to call 111 and ask for an ambulance.

A clinician will be available on-call to respond to community emergencies, and anyone needing hospital admission will be transferred to Greymouth's Te Nikau Hospital.

All other services like outpatient clinics, allied health and district nursing will continue to be available.
