Three people have been arrested following the burglary of a petrol station and an aggravated robbery at a dairy in the Waikato

The burglary at the petrol station in Dinsdale took place in the early hours of Monday morning and the aggravated robbery at the Te Awamutu dairy later the same day.

Police say members of the public tried to intervene in the dairy, but they're urging people not to put themselves in harm's way.
