The Greens co-leaders will deliver a State of the Planet address in downtown Auckland this afternoon

The Greens co-leaders will deliver a State of the Planet address in downtown Auckland this afternoon

It's the party's first scene setter speech since Chloe Swarbrick joined Marama Davidson as co-leaders, taking over from James Shaw in March.

Swarbrick says parties tend to address the country in a State of the Nation - but the Greens focus on the connection between people and planet.

She says people can expect them to outline the challenges we face - but to also paint a picture of a future which is possible if we work together.
