Kian Egan has welcomed his second child with wife Jodi Albert

The former Westlife singer took to his Facebook account to reveal his wife Jodi - with whom he has three-year-old son Koa - has given birth to their second child, a son named Zeke.

He wrote: "Koa got his wish when his baby brother Zeke was born this morning at 7.49am weight 7lb 13oz.

"Sharing the same birthday as Jodi's mum Eileen, the 21st May. Both Jodi and Zeke are doing great. We are all so happy and so in love with him x (sic)."

The couple announced they were expecting their second child together in November by posting a video of an excited Koa revealing he was going to be a "big brother".

He exclaimed: "Mummy's got a baby in her belly and I'm going to be a big brother."

The 35-year-old star and his wife - who is both an actress and a singer - added that they were "so excited" about "expanding" their family.

Speaking about the moment they found out she was pregnant, Jodi said previously: "The test said, 'Pregnant one to two weeks', and we both burst into tears."

The 31-year-old beauty has confessed to finding her second pregnancy much easier than her first as "the bond was so much quicker".

She added: "I didn't realise how much I wanted another child until I found out I was pregnant again."

Kian and Jodi tied the knot in 2009 before welcoming son Koa in 2011.
