Bethenny Frankel has slammed Harvey Weinstein

The 46-year-old television personality has taken to social media to slate the disgraced film producer - who has been accused of sexually assaulting a number of women over a 30 year period - and in her string of messages she blasted the 65-year-old a "beast".

The businesswoman tweeted: "Harvey is & was a beast. (sic)."

And the Skinnygirl Cocktails co-founder continued to slam the entertainment industry and "every person" in the business who turned a blind eye to the disgusting behaviour of the filmmaker.

She continued: "If I had $1 for every person in "the biz" that pretends they didn't know, I'd be richer than H before the fall. (sic)."

Bethenny has also alleged there are "20 names" of people in the field who are "shuddering under the covers" because they fear victims will lift a lid on their inappropriate actions too.

She wrote: "Yup. & there are 20 names right behind him shuddering under the covers.. & they're the famous ones. What about the regular offenders? (sic)."

Bethenny's comments come in the wake of a string of actresses and models, including Cara Delevingne, Rose McGowan, Ashley Judd, Gwyneth Paltrow and Kate Beckinsale, who have opened up about their horrific ordeal with Harvey.

And the sexual misconduct allegations made against Harvey has also encouraged Reese Witherspoon, Laura Dern and Blake Lively to open up about being sexually harassed by other figures in the business.

Harvey has since been sacked from his position as co-chairman of the The Weinstein Company, his wife of ten years, fashion designer Georgina Chapman, has left him, and a number of actors, including Channing Tatum, has cut ties with the business as they refuse to work with the studio in light of the allegations made against the 'Pulp Fiction' creator.
