The women's pair, men's and women's doubles, women's lightweight double and men's single scullers Mahe Drysdale and Robbie Manson have all won their heats.
The women's eight has also won its exhibition race, which like all heats was held in a time trial format.
Eight stroke seat Kelsey Bevan says it was a bit odd.
Mahe Drysdale and Robbie Manson will square off in the semi-finals tonight as they continue their battle for New Zealand's men's single sculls seat.
