    Tall Blacks coach Paul Henare has blended youth and experience in his 14-strong squad to take on Hong Kong and China in their world cup qualifiers


    Jack Salt returns to the team, which also sees a debutant in high school attending point guard Kruz Perrott-Hunt.

    Henare has also included a stable core of experienced veterans in the side, including captain Mika Vukona, Tom Abercrombie, Jarrod Kenny, Isaac Fotu, Rob Loe and Reuben Te Rangi.

    The first match of their qualifying window is against Hong Kong on Thursday.
