    Solange Knowles is "really proud" of her pal Michelle Williams, following her admission she is "seeking help" for depression

    The Destiny's Child singer took to Instagram this week to tell her followers she making mental health her priority by contacting professionals to assist her, and now Solange - who is the younger sister of Michelle's band mate Beyoncé - has voiced her support of her close pal


    Taking to the comments on Michelle's heartfelt post, the 32-year-old singer wrote: "Love u so Michelle! Really proud of you. Sending u all the love in the world (sic)"

    And Solange wasn't the only member of her family to leave a supportive message for the 37-year-old musician, as Tina Lawson - the mother of both Solange and Beyoncé - praised Michelle as the "best example of self care".

    She wrote in her own comment: "Michelle My Belle , I 'm soo proud of you ! You have given unselfishly of your time and support to so many and i know that you will be the best example of self care which we all need . Keep being a warrior and an advocate for you . I love and support you with all my being

    "I so love and admire you amazing courage (sic)"

    Other stars to leave touching comments for the 'Survivor' hitmaker included Octavia Spencer and Missy Elliott.

    Michelle posted her statement on social media this week, in which she revealed she recently "sought help from a great team of healthcare professionals".

    She wrote: "For years I have dedicated myself to increasing awareness of mental health and empowering people to recognise when it's time to seek help, support and guidance from those that love and care for your wellbeing. I recently listened to the same advice I have given to thousands around the world and sought help from a great team of healthcare professionals. Today I proudly, happily and healthily stand here as someone who will continue to always lead by example as I tirelessly advocate for betterment of those in need."
