    Lisa Carrington has high hopes for the new New Zealand K4 500 crew which finished fifth at the Canoe Sprint World Championships in Canada


    While Carrington won gold in her individual events, the K1 500 and K1 200, she finished fourth in the K2 500 with Alicia Hoskin and just outside the medals in the K4 boat.

    Carrington is encouraged with their progress heading into Olympic qualifying year.
