High jumper Hamish Kerr is targeting the World Indoor tour starting in Europe next February as a key chance to extend his New Zealand high jump record

The 2022 Commonwealth Games gold medalist is in a heavy strength training phase at the moment and won't compete again until two local meets at the end of January.

Kerr is then aiming to extend his national record of 2.31 metres on bouncier indoor surfaces offshore.
