Two people remain in a critical condition, after an early morning fatal crash in central Hamilton

Two others were killed early yesterday, when a speeding car struck the side of a delivery truck pulling in to Pak'n'Save on Ulster Street, and then burst into flames.

Police officers pulled two critically injured people from the burning vehicle.

Four other people also suffered minor to moderate injuries.

Fonterra says the driver of the delivery vehicle escaped without any serious injuries, but has been left shaken and is receiving support.

One witness says the crash was the scariest thing she's ever seen.
