Adjustments to be made for the Silver Ferns - with changes to international netball rules looming in the New Year

Adjustments to be made for the Silver Ferns - with changes to international netball rules looming in the New Year

The changes feature a focus on player safety - with revisions on contact in the air and contact in the head or neck area.

There's also tweaks to allow the game to flow more - including an adjustment to the short pass rule.

Defender Phoenix Karaka says the team have been schooling up on the changes during their just-concluded three-day trial for next month's Nations Cup.

The Silver Ferns squad for Nations Cup in England is named on Thursday.
