    Around two-thousand secondary students have earned a scholarship in last year's Scholarship exams


    NZQA released the results this morning.

    There were 37 subjects offered at scholarship level - which is the highest academic honour for secondary students.

    Recipients receive a financial award for full-time tertiary education or training in New Zealand.

    2023 was the first year for Te Hiranga Te Ao Haka -- a scholarship standard for Maori Performing Arts.
