    At least 287 school children have been kidnapped from a school in Nigeria


    Students as young as 8 years old and some teachers have been held by gunmen since early Thursday.

    A member of the public who tried to rescue the children was killed.

    Governor of the state says the government is doing everything to ensure the safe return of pupils.
