    Ireland are rugby's Six Nations champions for the second year in a row


    They've beaten a lionhearted Scotland 17-13 in Dublin to take an unassailable lead at the top of the ladder.

    The sides traded tries and yellow cards in the second half as Andy Farrell's men confirmed their 19th consecutive home victory.

    Captain Peter O'Mahony says they spoke at halftime about getting stuck in after a frustrating first 40 minutes.



    Meanwhile Wales coach Warren Gatland's offer of resignation's been declined by the Welsh Rugby Union after leading the Dragons to their first wooden spoon in 21 years, losing to Italy 24-21 in Cardiff.
