The Prime Minister says New Zealanders have to wait and see how the Budget will work out

The Prime Minister says New Zealanders have to wait and see how the Budget will work out

Chris Luxon and the Finance Minister are shooting down the Deputy Prime Minister's claims of a 5.6-billion-dollar fiscal hole.

Winston Peters addressed his party faithful on Sunday, telling them there isn't enough to cover campaign promises.

Luxon says there may be swings and round-abouts on how the Budget is constructed.

But he says the principles remain intact - tax relief is funded - and will be delivered to middle and lower income workers.
