A Christchurch high school will reopen today after two earthquake-prone buildings were discovered last week

Draft seismic assessments found Burnside High School's I and J blocks sit below the New Building Standards earthquake rating requirements.

The school closed on Thursday and Friday while new timetables and teaching locations were decided.
