Pharmac's asking for feedback on a funding proposal for type one diabetes treatments

The proposal is for continuous glucose monitors, insulin pumps, and insulin pump consumables.

If approved, up to 18,000 people with type one diabetes would be eligible from July.

Pharmac Pharmaceuticals director, Geraldine MacGibbon says its reached provisional agreements with suppliers - and their board must fully consider the proposal.

Feedback's open until April 26.
