Ardie Savea is calling for change to the eligibility criteria for the All Blacks

Ardie Savea is calling for change to the eligibility criteria for the All Blacks

Currently, only those playing for a New Zealand-based Super Rugby team can be selected - barring a select few senior players with exemptions.

That's seen a number of potential test stars become unavailable after heading offshore.

Savea - currently based in Japan - points to South Africa as an example of a top-tier nation which allows the opposite.
