    Armed police have arrested a 19-year-old man who allegedly pulled a firearm from a bag - at a Hamilton East address


    Police searched the man's house on Dey Street around 9:30 this morning.

    An imitation firearm was located and seized.

    The man is due to appear at the Hamilton District Court charged with unlawfully carrying and possessing a firearm.
