Cheryl Burke had three "showmances" during her time on 'Dancing with the Stars'

The 39-year-old dancer starred on the hit TV show for 26 seasons, and Cheryl has now confessed to having had romances with some of her former co-stars

During an appearance on the 'Amy and T.J' podcast, Cheryl shared: "I've had my own showmances, you know. It happens."

Cheryl admitted that one of her romances involved former pro football player Chad Johnson.

She said: "One of them basically professed his love to me on 'Ellen DeGeneres'."

Despite this, the TV star has remained tight-lipped about the identity of the other people she was involved with during her spell on 'Dancing with the Stars'.

Cheryl also acknowledged that the dynamic would always change whenever their romance entered the real world.

She explained: "Lust. It's not love, right?"

In November 2022, Cheryl took to social media to announce her departure from 'Dancing with the Stars'.

The dancer - who spent almost 17 years on the TV show - said on Instagram: "This has been one of the absolute hardest decisions of my life and I am also confident that it is the right one. This has truly been the experience of a lifetime. I'm looking forward to this next chapter of my career, but man will this one be hard to beat! Until next time...Love you all, always and forever xx. (sic)"

Cheryl subsequently admitted that the show had "changed [her] life".

Speaking to E! News, she explained: "It's the end of an era, my time as a dancer on 'Dancing with the Stars'. It has changed my life. I have not stopped crying and I'm not one to really cry."
