It could all come together for the Phoenix tomorrow night... but it will need a favour from some football rivals

It could all come together for the Phoenix tomorrow night... but it will need a favour from some football rivals

They're a point clear of Central Coast heading into their final regular-season game, at home to Macarthur F.C... at the same time the Mariners visit neighbours Newcastle.

The two top teams are vying for the Premier's Plate - and home advantage in the A-League grand final, should they make it.

Anything other than a Wellington win and a loss for the reigning champions will mean the Aussies triumph, or have the chance to do so in their catch-up game next week.

But Phoenix coach Giancarlo Italiano says he won't be getting on the blower to the Jets' Robbie Stanton.
