Chrissy Teigen wants to keep Meghan, Duchess of Sussex's jam "forever"

The 'Lip Sync Battle' star and her husband John Legend were among a string of famous faces who were recently sent a jar of fruit preserves from the former actress' new brand American Riviera Orchard and now the 'Cravings' writer has used her gift in a sandwich, she wants to hold on to it for as long as possible because it was so delicious.

Chrissy told 'Entertainment Tonight': "You don't want to use it, because I don't want to lose it. So now, I feel like we did the sandwich, and now I'm gonna keep [the jam] in my fridge forever."

The 38-year-old model - who has Luna, eight, Miles, five, Esti, 15 months, and Wren, 10 months, with her spouse - had taken to Instagram on Wednesday (24.04.24) to show off her gift from Meghan and she then shared a video of herself and her children using the jam to make sandwiches with brie and bacon.

John said of the snack: "That sandwich was, like, incredible. One of the best bites I've had in a long time.

"I want that exact sandwich again."

Chrissy added: "It was pretty epic."

The 'Bring the Funny' judge has a connection to Meghan in that they are "both Deal or No Deal alumni".

But while the 'Suits' star - who has children Prince Archie, four, and Princess Lilibet, two, with husband Prince Harry - was one of the show's briefcase models for two seasons, Chrissy's stint was much more brief.

She explained: "I was on 'Deal or No Deal' ages ago.

"I didn't actually make it past -- I was not one of the [briefcase] girls for more than two episodes.

"Because I couldn't do any choreography or anything. So they demoted me to a banker girl."

Other stars to have been sent jam by Meghan include Kris Jenner, Mindy Kaling, Tracee Ellis Ross and Abigail Spencer.

The duchess unveiled her new company on Instagram last month with a cryptic post.

And a trademark application obtained by Page Six Style revealed American Riviera Orchard will sell a wide range of home goods, including edible treats like jellies, jams and spreads and tableware staples such as cutlery, table linens and drinkware.

Cookbooks are also covered in the filing.

The logo for the brand features a script-like font that resembles Meghan's calligraphy, while its website features nothing aside from the brand's logo and a space for a 'Waitlist'.
