Jeezy finds Jeannie Mai's domestic abuse allegations to be "deeply disturbing"

The 46-year-old rap star - who filed for a divorce from Jeannie in 2023 - has denied his estranged wife's allegations of domestic abuse, saying that the claims are "deeply disturbing, especially coming from someone [he] loved".

In a statement given to 'Entertainment Tonight', Jeezy said: "This malicious attempt to tarnish my character and disrupt my family is ridiculous.

"It's disheartening to witness the manipulation and deceit at play and at this time my main concern is being an active father to our daughter as I continue to fight for court mandated joint custody. Rest assured, the truth will prevail through the proper legal channels."

Jeannie, 45 - who has a two-year-old daughter with Jeezy - previously accused the rap star of physically abusing her during the course of their marriage.

The TV star - who married Jeezy in 2021 - claimed that her estranged husband abused her various times during their relationship.

Meanwhile, earlier this year, Jeannie insisted that she won't allow setbacks to "shape" her life.

Jeannie - who turned 45 in January - took to social media to celebrate her latest birthday and to reflect on her experiences over the previous 12 months.

She wrote on Instagram: "Dang. Another year around this blazing sun.

"If my story were to end right now, my heart would swell with overwhelming gratitude over how much I have already lived.

"I thank God for the growth. The achievements. The lessons. All I have overcome. And most importantly- for having loved so deeply that I can love even better today than I ever have before.

"My superpower is my authenticity, in not allowing life's pains to shape me into someone I am not. Even when I am walking through the dark, I will myself not to hold onto it. Hullo. I thrive in light hunnnay [star emojis] (sic)"
