    Hamish Kerr has won the high hump event at the latest Diamond League tournament in Shanghai


    The Kiwi's best jump of 2.31 metres trumped Qatari Olympic champion Mutaz Essa Barsham by two centimetres.

    Tori Peeters has placed seventh in the women's javelin, throwing a season-best 59.11 metres.

    Earlier, Maddi Wesche also missed out on a medal, finishing sixth in the women's shot put final.
