Hundreds of travellers are stuck in Vanuatu - after the national airline filed for insolvency on Monday

Hundreds of travellers are stuck in Vanuatu - after the national airline filed for insolvency on Monday

Air Vanuatu's been plagued by technical faults for months.

All flights across the Pacific, Australia and New Zealand are cancelled until Sunday, with no replacement flights.

Nine News reporter Sarah Stewart says it's unclear what'll happen next.

She says the airline may go into voluntary administration - an option being considered by the Government.
