Confidence from Dame Lisa Carrington that success is possible in all three classes she'll contest at the Paris Olympics

Confidence from Dame Lisa Carrington that success is possible in all three classes she'll contest at the Paris Olympics

    24 April 2024

The kayaking queen will race the K1 500, K2 500 and K4 500 - but misses out on the K1 200 after it was scrapped from the Games programme after the 2021 Tokyo Games.

After being confirmed to head a six-strong Kiwi women's canoe sprint contingent in Paris - Carrington says going from four classes at the last Olympics to three will still be a big undertaking.

2016 Rio paddler Aimee Fisher returns and will also race the K1 and K2.

Alicia Hoskin and Olympic newcomers Lucy Matahaere, Olivia Brett and Tara Vaughan round out the team.
