Troubled Fletcher Building has returned a profit in its interim results
20 February 2019
The company's announced a 89 million dollar profit for the second half to December, compared with a loss of 237 million in the first half of 2018.
It's told shareholders they will get a dividend of 8 cents a share - to be paid out in early April.
Fletcher Building chief executive Ross Taylor says it's good to see the New Zealand market remaining solid.
He says the construction division returned to profitability this half - which is an important step.
He says they also continue to improve their skill base and management processes.
