    A multimillion dollar do up for a popular Queenstown attraction has been given the green light

    The Skyline Queenstown redevelopment will include a new gondola system, with each capsule able to carry 10 people instead of four - and will be quieter and more efficient.

    People will be able to snap more angles of the iconic view from the top of the gondola, with the viewing deck significantly increased from 68 square metres to 430.

    Skyline Queenstown says it's been working closely with neighbouring businesses, particularly Kiwi Birdlife Park to minimise disruption to the native wildlife.
