    Almost 20 million dollars to boost a Kawerau industrial hub

    25 February 2020
    The Provincial Growth Fund's putting the money into three projects further developing the Putauaki Trust Industrial Hub in the Bay of Plenty town.

    It includes 9.6 million towards a rail siding at the Container Terminal - and seven-and-a-half million to The Putauaki Trust for an industrial roading extension.

    A further 2.8 million will be set aside for a new highway for large vehicles.
