Greater Auckland says a new plan for rail is a good start, but not enough

The Government has announced it'll get freight and passengers off the roads and on trains ... through concentrated investment in national and metropolitan networks.
Greater Auckland Director Matt Lowrie endorses the plan but says the Government needs to think more outside the box.
He says it should be thinking about what the rail network could be in 10 or 20 years - and where they want it to be.
