The 49-year-old failed to return to Mt Holdsworth near Masterton around lunchtime last Saturday.
Search efforts have so far remained focused on areas where Myers may have gone off his planned route.
One member of the search team has had to receive medical treatment after fracturing his ankle while searching a creek bed.
He was taken to hospital by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter but is now recovering at home.
