Fire and emergency are dealing with two major crashes in the South Island

Two cars have collided with a train at Moheno near Oamaru.

Part of State Highway One is currently closed with diversions in place.. three crews are at the site.

Further south a car has gone over a cliff at Macetown Road near Arrowtown.

Two crews are at the scene.
