A reminder for caution - after WorkSafe has been notified of four farm fatalities this month

A reminder for caution - after WorkSafe has been notified of four farm fatalities this month

Two involved tractors in Te Kuiti and Hastings, another a child in an Opotiki dairy shed - and a quad bike rolled in central Hawke's Bay yesterday.

WorkSafe agriculture engagement lead Al McCone says this is a busy time of year - but we can't let challenges contribute to loss of life or injury.

He says mistakes happen, and your seatbelt might be the difference between a sore neck, and a broken one.
