    Four thousand people are without power in Hokitia due to a high voltage transmission fault near Kumara


    Westpower is yet to identify the cause.

    The outage affects from Arahura to Paringa.

    The company says at the same time they're working with Transpower to restore supply through an alternative feed from Otira.
