A 54-year-old man's been arrested in relation to the teen riot in Whangamata last night

Earlier, twenty-two arrests were made after a crowd of drunken teenagers caused chaos -- scaling the roof of Blackies Cafe and hurling bottles down below.

Police have today charged a 54-year-old old local man with inciting disorderly behaviour.

The man will appear in the Waihi District Court.
