West Coast DHB staff are moving back into the Buller Health centre after repairs to flood damage

West Coast DHB staff are moving back into the Buller Health centre after repairs to flood damage

They were evacuated more than a week ago when rising waters started to enter the centre in Westport.

DHB general manager Philip Wheble says a food team was first back in, after a deep clean of kitchen facilities.

He says district nurses, blood testing and other services will resume today.

The emergency operations centre, acute assessment and maternity services will remain at a temporary facility until later this week.
