A man from Gloriavale Christian Community has admitted a number of charges relating to the sexual abuse of children - and not guilty to a raft of other alleged offences

The 55-year-old appeared in the Greymouth District Court today via audio visual link from Christchurch
There are heavy suppression orders in place.
The man faced 38 charges including sexually violating and indecently assaulting a number of different young people.
He's pleaded guilty to 11 but disputes the facts of some.
He's pleaded not guilty to the remaining charges and has elected trial by jury.
He's been remanded in custody.
