Canterbury's social calendar has been stripped bare, with another event falling victim to Covid-19

The North Canterbury Wine and Food Festival is off due to the Red Light setting.
More than 4000 people were expected to attend the festival next month in Glenmark, north of Christchurch.
Organisers on the event's website say they're truly heartbroken.
It has been hit after hit for New Zealand's events industry - with the Hokitika Wildfoods Festival cancelled for the first time in 34 years.
