A Covid case visited a number of Queenstown pubs and bars last weekend

A Covid case visited a number of Queenstown pubs and bars last weekend

The Otago Daily Times reports there are now two confirmed cases of the virus in the town.

The first, a Queenstown local, tested positive yesterday morning.

The Sundeck Rooftop Bar and The Ballarat are high-risk exposure sites from last Saturday night, and Habana Boutique Rum Bar and World Bar and Restaurant early Sunday morning.

People there at the specified times must self-isolate and get tested immediately.

A Covid case has also been confirmed in Dunedin ... that person also visited Wanaka and Cromwell while infectious.

The country had a record 306 new community cases yesterday.
