    Roadworks could be more common place on State Highway two between Carterton and Masterton


    Higgins have been appointed to start work on safety improvements on the road.

    These include upgrading three key intersections with new roundabouts and physically separating traffic with new median safety barriers.

    Construction on the first roundabout will begin in August.
