A trial has been confirmed for a woman charged with murdering her three young daughters in Timaru

A trial has been confirmed for a woman charged with murdering her three young daughters in Timaru

Lauren Dickason allegedly killed six-year-old Liané and two-year-old twins Maya and Karla on September 16.

The South African family had just arrived in New Zealand, with father Graham, to start a job with the DHB.

Dickason didn't appear in person in the High Court in Christchurch this morning, after her medical team revealed it wouldn't be in her best interests.

A trial date is set for next year.
