    One person has died in Gore, in an early-morning car crash

    One person has died in Gore, in an early-morning car crash


    Emergency services were called to the two-vehicle crash on Main Street in Mataura, just after 3:30.

    It occurred near the intersection with Cardigan Bay Road.

    One person also sustained moderate injuries, and has been transported to hospital via helicopter.
