    Fire and Emergency say they logged 41 storm call-outs between 4 and 5pm

    Fire and Emergency say they logged 41 storm call-outs between 4 and 5pm


    They say they're prioritising calls where life and safety is at risk.

    They include a collapsing water tower, people trapped in a car and roofs lifting in Auckland, as well as a landslide into a house and flooding in Thames-Coromandel.

    They're also helping with evacuations in Opotiki, and dealing with evacuations, floodwater in a house and a tree on a car in Kaipara.
