    Warnings to avoid shellfish in the Firth of Thames area


    New Zealand Food Safety are advising people not to collect or eat shellfish from Raukura Point across to Deadmans Point.

    Recent tests have shown levels of paralytic shellfish poisoning toxins above the safe limit.
