A man and woman with an alleged connection to a series of shoplifting, have been arrested by a motorway patrol officer,

The two were stopped yesterday near Brigham Creek for speeding, but an investigation later found the vehicle had been stolen from Kaitaia.
The woman was also identified for a role in seven shoplifting offences worth just under 10-thousand dollars.
They appeared in Waitakere District Court today on charges including drug offences, receiving stolen property, stealing a motor vehicle, and shoplifting.
