Secondary school teachers across the South Island are ramping up strike action

Starting today, different regions will strike at different times - kicking off in the south.
Those in the lower North Island will strike tomorrow and then the upper North Island on Thursday.
In Christchurch, teachers will be picketing at eight major intersections around the city from 8.30.
Several other strike activities will be happening in Blenheim, Dunedin, Invercargill, Timaru, Queenstown and the West Coast.
